Bellator home rematch between Chandler and Alvarez, the fight of his most acclaimed story



Bellator moves to make the evening of November 2 unforgettable for their fans. After announcing the duel between the popular Rampage Jackson and Tito Ortiz, the organization confirmed the rematch of the best fight of his story to the same card.

The lightweight champion Michael Chandler back to face Eddie Alvarez, the man he took the belt - and post pitchman Bellator - in November 2011. The clash will headline the first event coprincipal aired on pay-per-view by the company.

Since winning the title, Chandler defended twice and won one more fight married. In two of these moments, the champion did not need more than a minute to liquidate opponents.

Moreover, two distinct Alvarez lived since it was overthrown. First, he knocked out Japanese superstar Shinya Aoki and RN Patricky Pitbull. Then, with the end of his contract, entered into legal battle with Bellator to try and close with the UFC. Defeated in the first instance and at risk of being two years without a fight, Alvarez entered into an agreement with the organization and received a rematch as compensation.

Chandler and Alvarez will make the rematch at Bellator 106, an event that will take place at the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California.
